# 《敦煌美学与世界的连接》 / 数字敦煌艺术展 - ID: 384 - URL: https://www.stoyard.com/works/384 - English URL: https://www.stoyard.com/en/works/384 - Year: 2022 - Cover: https://static.glabcms.stoyard.com/stoyard/project/cover/20230524/i09e1hm5tq.webp - Categories: 活动、展览设计服务, 政府、大学、国际组织, 艺术与文化 - English Categories: Event & Exhibition Design, Government、Organizations, Arts & Culture - Author: 葛熙呈 - English Author: Xicheng Ge - Publish: 2023-05-11 - Editor: STOYARD BEIJING ## 中文主体 ### 项目简介 《敦煌美学与世界的连接》是由敦煌研究院、中国石窟保护研究基金会、敦煌·华人传承专项基金联合发起的公益性质展览。展览向全球发布敦煌石窟30个经典洞窟的高清数字化内容及全景漫游。通过此次展览，让更多的人们走进敦煌，领略敦煌文化艺术的博大精深，感悟人类文明交流互鉴的气魄，让文明的光芒在新时代传承交融中熠熠生辉。   1.项目背景 作为中国古代文明璀璨艺术宝库的代表，敦煌文物资产数量众多，包含洞窟、壁画、彩塑、经卷等多种形式。 这些已存续千年的文物，此刻正经受着岁月流逝和环境侵蚀——气候和风沙、光照褪色、壁画酥碱问题、大量游客呼出的热气和湿气等严峻挑战，如何应用当代数字化技术保护文物遗迹和传续文明已经成为急迫的时代命题。 当前，随着数字化进程的加快，人工智能、数字孪生、虚拟现实、数字人、物理仿真等元计算新技术层出不穷，正加速实现物理世界数字化和数字世界物理化，这将为文物数字化创新和实现的形式带来更多的可能和想象空间。   2023年3月18日上午，《敦煌美学与世界的连接》暨敦煌壁画艺术精品公益巡展在中欧国际工商学院北京校区隆重开幕。开幕式中，中国欧盟协会副会长宋敬武先生表示：“数字化保护世界文化遗产对于研究文明的传承、交流、互鉴、融合有着重要的意义，前景广阔。” 我们有幸参与了展览活动前期的设计咨询，为展览承办方提供多个设计方案和创意理念。  2.通过字体彰显意蕴 我们为此次展览设计了契合主题的字体，“敦煌”两个字最终选择了行书书法字体，字形正气大方，笔势流畅，有端秀而不失飘逸的气度，与敦煌壁画的艺术形象相得益彰，我们希望通过字形来体现中国传统文明的内核。 以这两个字体为设计单元，我们将其应用于海报及其他视觉设计之中，和敦煌莫高窟的壁画图像交融，令人印象深刻。   3.强调“链接”的重大意义 此次展览展示的数字壁画图像绝对是艺术史的伟大的成就。既体现了科技的进步，也说明了人们对敦煌壁画的用心传承。一张5×3.3米的壁画，要拍摄大概1000多张照片进行高清图像采集，然后在电脑上进行精细拼接和加工，最终得到一个形变在毫米级别的高精度图像，这种精益求精的精神，也是我们国家对文化保护的重视。 基于此，我们在设计海报及一系列视觉图像时，便将一根纽带贯穿于名称主题之间。纽带不仅起到装饰的作用，也呼应了活动主题“敦煌艺术与世界文明的链接”，链接古今、链接世界，强调“链接”的重要意义。  4.提取石窟艺术的原始色彩 我们尝试了不同的颜色、字体、内容排版以及背景图像的方案。我们尝试从敦煌石窟壁画的颜色中提取了青、朱以及可以代表石窟艺术特点的土灰色，希望能够通过最自然的色彩让人们瞬间进入展览的文化氛围之中，感受到来自敦煌艺术最原始的魅力。 相比文物的保存，让文物“活起来”，让更多人可以研究、体验敦煌莫高窟文明的魅力至关重要，也将进一步将璀璨的敦煌文化推向世界。所以，我们的设计构想是尽可能地丰富视觉内容，呈现出庄重并且富有历史底蕴的艺术效果。  4.愿景 从上世纪90年代起，敦煌研究院就在国内率先开始探索应用数字化技术，建设“数字敦煌”资源库，来实现石窟资源的永久保存和永序利用。除了壁画，三维扫描技术使敦煌的彩塑也实现了数字化保存。应用虚拟视觉技术制作的VR漫游，则让观众可以在网上360度沉浸式观赏敦煌洞窟。 本次展览正是数字化保护的阶段性展示，随着科技的进步，以及世界艺术文化交流得拓展。未来，通过数字化版权的交换，散落在海外的敦煌文物也有望完成数字化的回归。 而我们每一个在数字交互领域学习和实践的人或是团队，都应该做出更伟大的尝试。 ## English Content ### Introduction "Dunhuang aesthetic connection with the world" is by the dunhuang academy, China grottoes protection research foundation, dunhuang · Chinese heritage fund jointly launched by the public welfare nature of the exhibition.Show to the world of 30 classic caves in dunhuang grottoes high-definition digital content and panoramic roaming.Through this exhibition, let more people into the dunhuang, appreciate the extensive and profound of dunhuang culture and art, feeling human civilization exchange mutual learning spirit, let the light of civilization in the new era of blending inheritance in yi yi is unripe brightness.   As a representative of the splendid artistic treasure house of ancient Chinese civilization, Dunhuang has a large number of cultural assets, including caves, murals, painted sculptures, scriptures and other forms. These cultural relics, which have existed for thousands of years, are now suffering from the passage of time and environmental erosion -- climate and sand, fading light, the problem of fresco alkali, hot air and damp breath from a large number of tourists and other severe challenges. How to apply contemporary digital technology to protect cultural relics and pass on civilization has become an urgent proposition of The Times. At present, with the acceleration of the digitization process, new metacomputer technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital twinning, virtual reality, digital human and physical simulation are emerging in an endless stream, accelerating the realization of the digitalization of the physical world and the physicalization of the digital world, which will bring more possibilities and imagination for the forms of digital innovation and realization of cultural relics.   On the morning of March 18, 2023, the Dunhuang Aesthetic Connection with the World and the Tour Exhibition of Dunhuang Mural Art Masterpieces for public benefit opened in Beijing Campus of China Europe International Business School. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Song Jingwu, Vice President of the European Union Association of China, said: "Digital protection of world cultural heritage is of great significance for the study of civilization inheritance, exchange, mutual learning and integration, and has broad prospects." We have the honor to participate in the design consultation of the early stage of the exhibition, providing a number of design schemes and creative ideas for the exhibition organizers.  2. Convey meaning through fonts For this exhibition, we designed a font that fits the theme. The two characters of "Dunhuang" finally chose the calligraphy font of running script. The font is honest and generous, the stroke is smooth, and the elegance of the end is graceful and elegant, which complements the artistic image of Dunhuang murals. Taking these two fonts as the design unit, we applied them in posters and other visual designs, blending with the mural images of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, which is impressive.   3. Emphasize the importance of links For this exhibition, we designed a font that fits the theme, and the two characters "Dunhuang" are finally displayed in calligraphy, reflecting the core of traditional Chinese civilization. Fonts are used in poster design, blending with murals in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes as visual background. The digital mural images displayed in this exhibition are absolutely a great achievement in art history. It not only reflects the progress of science and technology, but also shows people's careful inheritance of Dunhuang frescoes. For a mural of 5×3.3 meters, more than 1,000 photos need to be taken for high-definition image collection, and then the fine stitching and processing are carried out on the computer, so as to finally obtain a high-precision image with the deformation of millimeter level. This spirit of excellence is also our country's emphasis on cultural protection. With this in mind, when designing the poster and a series of visual images, we put a link between the theme of the name. The link not only plays a decorative role, but also echoes the theme of the event "The link between Dunhuang Art and world civilization", linking the ancient and modern times and the world, emphasizing the significance of "link".  4. Extract the original colors of the cave art We experimented with different colors, fonts, content typography, and background images. We try to extract the colors of the Dunhuang grotto murals from the green, Zhu and the earth gray, which can represent the characteristics of the grotto art, hoping that through the most natural colors, people can instantly enter the cultural atmosphere of the exhibition and feel the most primitive charm of Dunhuang art. Compared with the preservation of cultural relics, it is very important to make cultural relics "alive" so that more people can study and experience the charm of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes civilization, which will further promote the splendid Dunhuang culture to the world. So, our design concept was to enrich the visual content as much as possible, to present a solemn and historical artistic effect.  Since the 1990s, the Dunhuang Academy has taken the lead in exploring the application of digital technology in China and building a "digital Dunhuang" resource library to realize the permanent preservation and use of grotto resources. In addition to murals, three-dimensional scanning technology has also enabled the digital preservation of Dunhuang painted sculptures. VR tour made by virtual vision technology allows the audience to enjoy the Dunhuang caves in 360-degree immersion online. This exhibition is a stage show of digital conservation, with the progress of science and technology, as well as the expansion of art and culture exchanges around the world. In the future, through the exchange of digital copyright, scattered overseas Dunhuang cultural relics are also expected to complete the digital return. And every one of us who is learning and practicing in the field of digital interaction, or as a group, should try something even greater.
