PILLS is an inte-disciplinary studio, whose works focus on contemporary spatial culture. We are interested in capital and spatial politics, environmental control and philosophy of technology, globalization and infrastructure, contemporary media culture and production-consumption relations, film and media technologies. We hope to redefine contemporary urban and architectural issues with critical approaches, to influence contemporary culture with multiple observational methods, to discuss the mechanism behind spatial productions in further depth, and to depict the contemporary world picture and human conditions in greater clarity.
PILLS 'field of work mainly includes: architectural and interior design, installation and exhibition design, urban and landscape design, cross-media production and cultural communication and other speculative practices. He observes and intervenes in contemporary culture in a variety of ways, explores more deeply the mechanism behind space production, and tries to outline the picture of the contemporary world and the living state of people.
Based on the interpretation of PILLS team, we believe that more concepts of architectural aesthetics should be considered at the beginning of design. We hope to learn some useful concepts from the operation rules of space, and these small particles will act on our entire design logic, which will better fit the humanistic concept delivered by PILLS to the public.

It is generally believed that space can reflect the spirit of The Times and the material and cultural features of society, reflects the social and cultural characteristics of a specific historical period. space, can be seen by human eyes, can be touched, can be immersive appreciation. Their outline, sequence combination, space arrangement, proportion scale, shape style, color decoration are all conditions that can be expanded infinitely.
When we try to imagine the website design as space design and the website itself as a building, unity, balance, proportion, rhythm, contrast, sequence design in the layout are all aesthetic rules that we can boldly learn from.
Therefore, our visual design style is also more inclined to minimalism, abstraction, innovation and other characteristics.

In the overall design of PILLS Architects website, we attach great importance to the layout of text content. We use the changes of dividers, font background color, punctuation, pictures and other elements to arrange the page content. On a macro level, the artistic characteristics of points, lines and plane are achieved to make the content more formal and orderly.
This layout effect is similar to the early impurity typesetting, both classic reading atmosphere, without losing the contemporary simple style. We also use the text content as a part of the design, constantly changing but not cluttered, always staying within certain rules.
