联合国教育、科学及文化组织属于联合国专门机构，简称联合国教科文组织。1946年11月成立，同年12月成为联合国的一个专门机构。总部设在巴黎，该项目网站的设计加入建筑元素，采用flash动画制作既增加其互动性又体现其建筑特色

鉴于设计之都文化中心商业空间的定位，其官方网站应定位于为招商服务的推广平台。特别是在前三年，一至三层“招租无忧”的情况下。针对地下一层设计博物馆和五层设计会所这两处提供临时性租赁服务的空间进行重点的推广。突出体现设计之物文化中心作为北京市设计地标的重要地位。
